The goal of Plan Administration & Implementation is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Specifically, a Sr Specialist within PAI is responsible for providing oversight over high volume processing of complex disbursements and distributions, researching historical activity, managing relationships with internal business partners, and ensuring absolute compliance with all regulatory requirements of ERISA Law.

A Senior Specialist is expected to provide oversight of high volumes of distributions and handle complex research inquiries related to those distributions. They must also have a strong understanding of the many operational processes within the group. Position responsibilities include responding to internal partner inquiries, maintaining quality control and procedures, creating process improvements, mitigating risk, training new employees, performing large dollar review, and streamlining workflows to meet key deliverables and exceed client expectations.  They must also demonstrate flexibility and extreme attention to detail, have initiative in researching tasks, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines is vital to success in this position. The successful candidate must have superior analytical skills, processing experience/knowledge of the SRI recordkeeping system is highly preferred, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure that daily client deliverables are met.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working within the SRI recordkeeping system and participant directed distributions at a depth that allows for creativity in facilitating customer requests, researching system and operational issues, and challenges the traditional workflows or capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations and plan design which governs processes such as participant directed distributions.
  • Experience processing participant directed distributions and providing system oversight of requests to ensure they meet their service level agreements.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan Administration and ASPPA designation (preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, daily-deadline-driven environment coordinating activities of team members and processing transactions to achieve success with minimal errors
  • Extreme attention to detail while demonstrating situational awareness and delivering effective solutions
  • Communicates effectively and professionally with experience collaborating across various departments
  • Creative thought process focusing on continuous process improvement
  • Ability to interpret client and participant needs
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
