The Workplace Client Banking Services (WCBS) Onboarding organization is dedicated to delivering a world-class onboarding and development experience for new and developing professionals across Workplace Client Banking Services. While this role primarily supports Retirement Plan Services (RPS) and Stock Plan Services (SPS), it may also support additional WCBS business lines as organizational needs evolve. As the Senior Manager, WCBS Onboarding, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of onboarding and development programs that primarily support RPS and SPS professionals while maintaining the flexibility to support broader WCBS onboarding initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, leading, and continuously improving onboarding experiences, readiness programs, mentoring support, and talent development initiatives. This role partners closely with business leaders, training teams, risk partners, and talent development professionals to ensure successful employee transitions, strong business outcomes, and a best-in-class learner experience.
In this role you will:
- Lead the WCBS Onboarding team responsible for onboarding, readiness, and development programs, primarily supporting RPS and SPS professionals.
- Partner with leaders across WCBS to develop scalable onboarding strategies that support evolving business needs.
- Establish and execute onboarding strategies that align with business priorities, service standards, risk expectations, and employee development objectives across WCBS.
- Partner with RPS, SPS, CBS, Training, Learning & Development, Risk, Human Resources, and Operations partners to continuously enhance onboarding effectiveness and learner outcomes.
- Drive consistency across onboarding experiences, transition support, coaching practices, learner assessments, and readiness evaluations regardless of business line supported.
- Oversee onboarding cohorts and transition programs designed to accelerate proficiency and confidence in servicing clients and participants.
- Evaluate onboarding effectiveness through quality measures, readiness metrics, learner feedback, performance results, and business outcomes.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives that enhance onboarding and employee readiness across WCBS.
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required:
- Active FINRA Series 7, 63, and 9/10 licenses.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading leaders, coaches, mentors, or development-focused teams.
- 2+ years of experience supporting Retirement Plan Services (RPS), Stock Plan Services (SPS), Workplace Services, or similar client service organizations.
- 1+ year of experience leading WCBS Onboarding programs.
- Proven success influencing cross-functional partners and driving results through collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change while maintaining engagement, performance, and operational effectiveness.
- Passion in mentoring others in teaching processes, coaching processes, and employee development skills for future leadership success.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to be self-directed, self-motivated, comfortable working in a virtual environment, and capable of independently managing a variety of tasks.
Preferred:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong facilitation skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities as demonstrated by gathering, analyzing, and delivering information in both verbal and written formats.
- Exhibited success in creating a “through the client’s eyes” experience with a focus on proactive and productive conversations.
