This role is part of the Mainframe Automation team and supports ChangeMan initiatives, software package deployments, resiliency improvements, disaster recovery readiness, and platform security administration. The need for the role is driven by the increasing complexity and criticality of the ChangeMan platform, which supports more than 20 application teams. Beyond day-to-day administration, the role is expected to provide advanced technical expertise in automation, platform engineering, major/minor upgrades, operational risk reduction, and cross-team coordination. As we continue to streamline our ChangeMan environment, we need additional technical depth to independently trouble shoot issues , improve operational efficiency, and ensure continuity of this business-critical service. The Level 56 role provides the expanded scope and expertise required to support both current operational demands & software upgrades.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting ChangeMan, including installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and infrastructure deployment activities. 
• Strong working knowledge of ChangeMan package lifecycle management, including package creation, promotion, deployment configuration, troubleshooting, and production support. 
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, administering, and supporting Micro Focus ChangeMan ZMF (or equivalent ChangeMan products) in a mainframe environment. 
• Experience performing ChangeMan version upgrades, patch management, environment migrations, and system integrations while ensuring platform stability and compliance with organizational standards. 
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving ChangeMan application, connectivity, security, and performance issues, coordinating with vendor support as needed. 
• Experience supporting z/OS mainframe environments, including knowledge of TSO/ISPF, JCL, SDSF, RACF, and related infrastructure components utilized by ChangeMan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience. 
• Experience with mainframe disaster recovery, resiliency testing, and recovery validation exercises. 
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and security review activities within a mainframe environment.​
