Schwab Private Wealth Services (SPWS) and Advisor Services Premium Service Model provides a broad range of Operational technical expertise and support to our high-net-worth clients. Our mission is to provide prompt, thorough, and complete service through collaborative partnerships with Partner Support, Investor Services, Service Teams, Relationship Managers, and the Accommodations/CST groups. We’re searching for experienced, team-focused individuals to own prioritized work items pertaining to households with wealth over 10 million dollars and AS Premium Firms at Charles Schwab.
What you'll do:
- Provide exceptional, prompt, and thorough service to our ultra-high net worth client by ensuring customized and proactive solutions to their Retirement Distribution related work items.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy, assess risk, and make sound business decisions.
- Spend the amount of time needed to complete items by working with phone, email, and chat channels. Utilizing Digital resources and all other available technology, when appropriate, to customize the Retirement Distribution client experience for this segment of clients.
- Effectively change focus throughout the day to assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high-volume processing.
- Serve as an advisor/mentor for professionals and business partners to the department to assist with complex issues, escalations, and understanding of the day’s priorities.
- Partner with leadership to identify, monitor and control existing and emerging risks.
- Provide advice and guidance to business partners regarding usage of escalation pathways.
- Serve as a tenured member of the team, taking into consideration business, brand, financial, and regulatory risk.
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of Retirement Distribution experience with a track record of increasing responsibility, and exceptional client service skills.
- Experience working with Ultra High Net Worth Clients, and the internal business partners that support them.
- Thorough understanding and expertise in IRA’s and Qualified Retirement Plans and experience in assisting clients with implementing these plans at Schwab.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Series 7, and 63/66 licenses preferred. Series 9/10 or 24 a plus.
- Ability to use Emotional Intelligence to build and strengthen client relationships and establish a consistent consultative approach with clients.
- The ability to provide excellent customer service on inbound and outbound calls and via written communication.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal business partners.
- Ability to work as a member of a project team and cultivate a strong working relationship with partners.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and to design appropriate solutions.
- A track record of providing sound guidance to business partners, peers, and leadership.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently to bring complex cases to conclusion.
- Ability to assess and review risk associated with UHNW clients’ specific situations.
