The Cloud Senior Specialist Engineer will work closely with other cloud engineers and internal/external customers to provide and maintain cloud solutions.  This position requires hands on technology experience and ability to oversee test/validate, troubleshoot and implement custom solutions engineered by the Cloud Tools Engineering team.

What you’re good at

Looking at the big picture, engaging clients, and translating business and technical needs into detailed requirements that generate value for clients and improve Cloud Tools Engineering solutions.

Understanding end-to-end capabilities, including upstream and downstream dependencies of assigned Cloud Tools Engineering solutions, and effectively troubleshooting and remediating issues across the support path.

Building effective reference materials, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing resources that help cross-train peers and support partner organizations.

Applying a strong understanding of technology concepts and tools to design, support, and improve cloud solutions.

Using approved AI solutions responsibly and efficiently to improve analysis, automation, documentation, and delivery outcomes.

Working independently, staying solutions-oriented, and proactively driving work forward with sound judgment and clear communication.

What you have

To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in Software Development, Cloud Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of technical experience with cloud support in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Provider (GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a software developer on either front-end or back-end solutions using common coding languages such as Angular, .NET, or JavaScript.

• Experience working with cloud provider services in areas such as database, storage, AI/ML, and middleware.

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Salt, or similar automation tools is beneficial because provisioning includes Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with SCM and DevOps tool suites; examples include Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse etc.

• Experience with operational processes that ensure high availability and service continuity across the technology stack.

• Experience creating, maintaining, and improving operational documentation that supports reliable service delivery.

• Effective troubleshooting skills, including the ability to isolate issues, identify root cause, and drive timely resolution.

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field OR related practical experience

• Cloud Provider Certification is a plus

• Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
