Our mission on our Select Trading Coverage (STC) team is to provide high touch trading coverage to every Schwab advisor. We provide full-service support and coverage while providing a consistent one stop white glove experience. Our proactive communication and timely response are the key to our success. We strive to have a quick resolution to all your trading inquiries and needs.
As financial markets become increasingly complex and simultaneously fast paced, many of our most strategic firms face time-sensitive challenges that require singularly accountable, expert coordination across multiple business domains. This high-touch, consultative trading coverage model aims to provide firms with a single point of contact, a trading quarterback, for addressing the full spectrum of trading needs, from pre-trade to post-trade, ensuring these clients have timely, consistent, and seamless support each step of the way in the trading lifecycle.
The STC Sr. Manager will lead a collaborative, high-performing team responsible for designing and building an outstanding client experience through strategic initiatives, relationship management, and process improvement. You will seek to simplify, centralize, and streamline our advisor’s trading executions, operations, and technology-related needs in a personalized, comprehensive, and efficient manner. This will be successful due to your strong leadership and organizational skills. By creating brilliant trading experiences through dedicated, experienced trading and technology support, you and your team will create a competitive advantage in serving the RIA industry’s most strategic and growth-oriented firms, ensuring we remain the premier asset gatherer.
In this role you will:
- Lead and organize a variety of high-impact initiatives to further elevate Schwab’s client experience, and ensure a proactive approach to seeking quality trading interactions
- Create and maintain strong relationships with internal partners to ensure our process is through clients’ eyes
- Assuring your team is creating solid lines of communications with our advisors so we know their business, initiatives, processes and expectations
- Manage and qualify team responses to inquiries from channel partners and RIAs with timely and complete information
- Teach and lead your team to act as a client advocate by monitoring and/or resolving any trade related concerns to ensure clients are receiving the best experience possible
- Create, measure and improve answer rates to phone and e-mail inquiries assuring your team answers in a timely manner with a focus on consistent follow-up and solid estimated times for solutions

Required Qualifications:
- 4 year College Degree
- 5+ years of industry experience trading or supporting Equities and ETFs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, and cross-functional relationship building skills
- Independent judgement with strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Thorough understanding of Schwab internal teams and communication lanes
- Ability to adjust to changes quickly and efficiently in a fast paced and stressful environment
- Self-motivated and client driven
- Ability to effectively handle, lead and manage your team while they support multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Critical thinker with ability to react to changes in regulatory, market, and business climate
- Proficient with Outlook, Teams, Webex and Salesforce
- A high level of knowledge regarding Schwab trading products and services, competitor information, policies and procedures, securities industry, Client service and trading.
- Primary area of responsibility will be to lead this team by example and deliver on all Service Level Agreements and advisor expectations

- Series 57, Series 24 & Series 4 (Preferred)
- Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
