The Senior Manager will provide leadership, coaching, and development to associates while fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. This role requires deep expertise in securities operations, regulatory requirements, risk management, industry practices, and physical certificate processing.

Success in this role requires balancing day-to-day operational oversight with strategic initiatives, process automation, regulatory readiness, and cross-functional partnership across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and associates while fostering an inclusive, engaged, and performance-driven team culture.
  • Oversee daily securities operations activities, ensuring operational accuracy, service level achievement, strong controls, and an exceptional client experience.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve productivity, quality, scalability, and risk management.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable SEC, FINRA, DTCC, and brokerage industry regulations while supporting audits, examinations, inquiries, and remediation efforts.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, Technology, Operations, Trading, Asset Management, Client Service, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls and deliver business priorities.
  • Lead process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives that reduce manual work, enhance efficiency, and support operational scalability.
  • Serve as a securities operations subject matter expert and communicate performance, risks, priorities, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing  operations team.
  • 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry with a strong background in securities operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of securities processing, settlement, custody operations, asset transfers, reconciliations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale operational initiatives or business transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of SEC, FINRA, DTCC, and brokerage industry regulations.
  • Current Series 7/63 Series 24 or 9/10 licenses required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience leading Securities Operations functions within a broker-dealer, clearing firm, bank, or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of DTC, NSCC, CNS settlement, direct registration systems (DRS), stock record, custody operations, and asset servicing.
  • Proven ability to identify operational risks and implement sustainable control frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence and build partnerships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience leading teams through organizational change and process transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot.
  • Experience utilizing data analytics, reporting, and workflow automation tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining focus on execution and operational results.
