Operations Control strives to be a liaison to our Operational Services and Client Business Partners. Our mission is to protect the client, firm assets and information by partnering with businesses and technology. As a business liaison we offer a variety enterprise-wide functional control services that will assist our partners in balancing efficiency, cost, and risk while ensuring regulatory and corporate policy compliance. Primary responsibilities of our organization include: Asset Reconciliation, Customer Protection, Customer and Account Data Control, Internal Accounts, Data Governance, Print and Mail Oversight, and Operational Risk Change Management.

As a Senior Manager within Books & Records Control (BARC) Solutions, your focus will be to identify, prioritize, and solve complex business challenges through Business-Led Development (BLD) solutions. You will partner across Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and business teams to define the strategic roadmap for business automation and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, business process transformation, and solution governance while serving as a thought leader in delivering scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions that improve client outcomes, reduce operational risk, and increase organizational efficiency. You will lead a portfolio of business-led technology initiatives while helping establish standards, best practices, and governance frameworks that enable innovation at scale.  You will be able to: 

  • Serve as the senior Power Platform advisor for Operations Control, providing expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Power BI, and related technologies.
  • Lead execution of the Business-Led Development strategy and long-term transformation roadmap across Operations Control.
  • Participate in ownership of the Ops Control BLD portfolio, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, lifecycle management, and value realization.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize processes through automation, workflow optimization, AI-enabled capabilities, and Power Platform solutions.
  • Drive measurable improvements in operational efficiency, control effectiveness, client experience, and risk reduction through delivery of business-led technology solutions.
  • Influence technology and business partner decision-making to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
  • Monitor solution health, performance, user adoption, and value realization metrics.
  • Evaluate emerging platform capabilities and identify opportunities for business application.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks supporting solution design, development, deployment, change management, records retention, resiliency, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, training, and technical skill development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Present solution strategies, business cases, and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in Books & Records Control (Reconciliation, Segregation, Internal Accounts, Client Account Data Control) is required.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and solution lifecycle management.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Program/Project Manager with a track record of delivering innovative and strategic business processes, requirements, and data-related solutions, preferably within Ops Control.
  • Experience coaching and leading team members.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated experience leading business-led development, low-code application development, or digital transformation programs.
  • Experience leading enterprise solution portfolios and driving strategic technology transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across multiple organizations.
  • Experience establishing standards and controls supporting business-owned technology solutions.
  • Ability to calmly assess and manage high visibility or large-scale technical challenges.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and to craft appropriate solutions.
  • Must be team oriented, great at problem solving, able to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast-moving regulated environment.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and embrace new insights in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strategically think beyond day-to-day operations and analyze a variety of factors and metrics when making global decisions for the department.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with regulators/auditors.
  • Ability to articulate technical features and capabilities in clear use cases.
  • Good interpersonal, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, change directions and shift between projects and initiatives.
