The Workforce Intelligence Team, part of Schwab’s HR organization, delivers workforce reporting, analytics, and business insights that enable HR partners and business leaders to make informed, people‑centered decisions.
As a Senior HR Reporting & Analytics Specialist, you’ll bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for turning workforce data into actionable insights. You’ll partner closely with HR and business stakeholders, using your technical and functional expertise to translate business questions into meaningful data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver ad hoc, recurring, and self‑service workforce reporting and analytics using HR systems and database tools
- Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports that enable scalable, self‑service insights
- Design and execute analysis plans based on high‑level business questions or functional challenges
- Interpret and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to HR partners and business leaders
- Explore new approaches to data and technical challenges, continuously improving reporting and analytics capabilities
- Recommend process, system, or data enhancements and collaborate with system owners to influence improvement
- Perform peer reviews, validate data accuracy, and support high standards for analytic integrity
- Ensure analytics and reporting outputs are audience‑appropriate, compliant with HR data standards, and aligned to client needs
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in HRIS, reporting, and/or data analytics roles
- Strong Excel skills, including data review, manipulation, and analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing, structuring, validating, analyzing, and interpreting data and reports
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality, standards, and accuracy
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HR and reporting platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, iCIMS, SQL, Beeline, OneModel, and/or similar tools
- Working knowledge of core Human Resources functions, workforce processes, and people data
- Passion for creating intuitive, user‑friendly reporting and analytics experiences
- Ability to translate business needs and processes into streamlined reporting, dashboards, and insights
- Strong relationship‑building skills, with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
