Support the development and operation of Container Platforms through software engineering, automation, and operational excellence while building foundational skills for a career in platform operations and software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation tools to streamline platform management and operational processes.  

• Develop and support software solutions using Python, Java, C++, or comparable programming languages.  

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application deployment, hosting and automation-related issues.  

• Contribute to the design, deployment, and ongoing improvement of infrastructure resiliency.  

• Document system configurations, software enhancements, and operational best practices. 

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve scalability, performance, and operational reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Drive application support and maintenance initiatives to ensure high availability and operational excellence.  

• Manage and optimize data platforms, pipelines, and repositories supporting advanced analytics and AI/ML workloads.  

• Serve as a key contributor during incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration activities.  

• Establish and execute testing frameworks that ensure product quality, resilience, and compliance with requirements.  

• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize delivery objectives and manage product backlogs aligned with business goals.  

• Design and implement security best practices, controls, and remediation strategies across the technology stack.  

• Develop scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions aligned with architectural standards. 

• Champion engineering best practices, code quality, and software lifecycle management processes.  

• Automate application deployment and operations using container, orchestration, and CI/CD technologies.  

• Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies to accelerate delivery and continuously improve system capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Analyze data, industry trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support informed decision-making across cloud-native platforms, including GKE, OpenShift, and containerized environments. 

• Collaborate across engineering and operations teams to drive automation, platform modernization, and operational excellence using Ansible, infrastructure automation, and OpenShift application development practices. 
• Design and enhance observability solutions leveraging Grafana, OpenTelemetry (OTEL), logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to improve platform reliability, performance, and stakeholder visibility. 

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
