The CBS Electronic Communications Group (ECG) JL57 Individual Contributor provides leadership within a dedicated Client Banking Services business model by modeling clientfocused behaviors that build trust and strengthen relationships. This role delivers personalized, compliant service through electronic channels and empowers team members to make sound, clientcentric decisions that drive loyalty and sustainable growth.

The JL57 models Schwab’s Through Clients’ Eyes service philosophy by delivering timely, accurate, and compliant support while reinforcing firstcontact resolution, problemsolving, and operational discipline. This role serves as a trusted peer resource—supporting consistency, decisionmaking, and partnership across CBS ECG.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active FINRA Series 7, 63, 9, 10 licenses
  •  2 years + experience in Electronic Communications Group handling chat and email interactions.
  • Serve as a role model for CBS ECG service excellence across chat and email, demonstrating strong written communication, empathy, and sound judgment

  •  Consistently deliver highquality, pointofcontact resolutions by effectively navigating multiple systems and procedures in a regulated environment
  •  Reinforce Schwab policies, authentication standards, and risk controls while maintaining a strong client experience
  • Lead through influence by supporting peers, sharing best practices, and promoting consistent application of CBS ECG procedures
  • Apply strong problemsolving skills to interpret client needs, clarify intent, and identify appropriate solutions through digital channels
  • Partner effectively with crossfunctional teams and internal support groups to resolve complex or nuanced client inquiries
  • Demonstrate accountability for quality, accuracy, and efficiency while operating in a fastpaced, highvolume electronic environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, service consistency, or the employee experience and escalate insights as appropriate
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience with staffing and workforce management preferred
  • Additional management or leadership training preferred

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
