What you’ll do:


This role in AS Pricing and Billing requires special expertise in numerous areas relating to AS commission schedules, negotiated pricing and advisor billing, in conjunction with superior coaching and mentoring skills. Those in this role are expected to integrate highly developed teamwork and leadership skills while supporting a team of individuals and working with the Team Manager. This role requires personal initiative and an ongoing commitment to maintaining a constant flow of information and building of knowledge within the team and overall business unit.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Act as a role model for the dedicated group while servicing our clients through regular interactions.
• Oversee the management of the workflow, team email inboxes to maintain or exceed service levels. Reassign workflow to individuals as needed.
• Identify and redirect any excess capacity to value added activities.
• Delegate responsibilities to other grade levels as appropriate for training and workflow needs.
• Act as first escalation point for the team.
• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and resolve complex requests and provide additional options when necessary.
• Project Manage any technical issues with our internal systems working with relevant departments to resolve when needed.
• As a 9/10 delegate, assist with team manager responsibilities as needed in the absence of the team manager.
• Relentlessly seek out opportunities to improve skill set and knowledge
• Support team engagement by playing a leadership role in the successful execution of the energy plan.
• Help drive the education of internal partners and clients, including coordinating written communications and technical enhancements.
• Support the communication and roll out of organizational and departmental directives.
• Educate and resolve complex client issues including necessary research and analysis with an inquisitive, detail oriented mindset.
• Proactively identify control gaps and inefficiencies and/or opportunities for process improvement/risk mitigation.
• Validate research data and performing QC of pricing and billing entries and provide direct feedback to staff.
• Contribute to communication, both internal and external, in order to inform impacted parties of research results.

What you have


• FINRA Series 7, 63, 9 and 10 Licenses.
• Deep understanding and recognition of risk factors related to Advisor Pricing and Billing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to effectively interact and represent their dedicated group to employees at all levels, across enterprises as well as with external partners.
• Strong proficiency in all aspects of the teams responsibilities.
• Superior planning and organizational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple issues concurrently.
• Proficient at working autonomously; requires little direction in how to approach assignments to completion and is accountable for business results.
• Articulate communicator with good listening skills. Presents well in person, on the phone, in meetings and in writing.
• Passion for service, professionalism, positivity and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork.
• In-depth knowledge of Advisor Services products, services, complex subject matters, policies and procedures as well as demonstrated brokerage industry knowledge.
• Excellent relationship management skills including collaborating, influencing and negotiating.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve, interact with individuals at various levels, and think on your feet.
• Initiative to create change through process improvements, training and streamlining functions.
• Ability to identify potential risk situations and mitigate timely and effectively.
