Operations Control partners across Operational Services and the firm to ensure risks associated with new and changing business activities are identified, assessed, and managed proactively.
This role will support the Operations Control Engagement & Audit Navigation (OCEAN) team lead with engagement across new product initiatives, ensuring early identification of operational risks and alignment of controls prior to and after launch.
What you'll do:
- Serve as liaison to product sponsors and business owners for risk engagement.
- Support Operational risk impact assessments across new products, projects, and low pathway initiatives.
- Facilitate early identification of risks, dependencies, and control impacts.
- Coordinate across multiple business units including the Operational Control Risk Team, Operational Services Business Unit Risk Support Teams, and other stakeholders to align on risk outcomes.
- Deliver consolidated Operations risk views to support governance decision-making.
- Create supporting resources and education to support the Operational Control Risk Team and other execution teams and contribute to an evolving library of change management artifacts for greater consistency in our delivery model.
- Drive consistency and repeatability in risk assessment processes and templates.
- Support implementation of standardized risk assessment frameworks.
- Partner with business stakeholders to align on mitigation strategies prior to launch.
- Support follow-through activities to ensure risk and control alignment post-implementation.
- As needed, support team leader and team members with line of defense testing preparation activities.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in operational risk, business risk, or product risk.
- Experience supporting risk governance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with risk assessment frameworks and risk and control self-assessments.
- Ability to translate business initiatives into operational risk impacts
