We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The Asset Transfer Services (ATS) Department balances incoming and outgoing transfer requests for Schwab clients.  ATS strives to lead the industry by crafting the best transfer experience for our clients, internal business partners, and contra/brokerage firms.

The Specialist in ATS performs a variety of functions and services for our Schwab Advisor Services and Investor Services client groups. This includes but is not limited to processing transfer paperwork, reviewing assets for acceptability to

o In depth knowledge of transfer types (ACAT, Non-ACAT, DRS, etc.) and reviewing assets for acceptability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Be flexible to switch gears throughout the day to assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high-volume processing spikes

  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy, assess risk, and make sound business judgement decisions while meticulously processing each transfer request in a timely manner.
  • Experience working with multiple systems in a dual monitor environment, and basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office products) are required.
