Charles Schwab Advisor Wealth Services is an industry leader in providing custodial, trading, technology, and practice management solutions to independent advisory firms. As an integral part of Advisor Wealth Services, the Alliance team serves as a liaison for investment advisors and their end clients, enhancing the advisor-client service experience by leveraging the scale, resources, and client focus of Schwab.

As an Alliance Senior Team Manager, you’ll lead a team of approximately 16 to 18 representatives who provide consultative service to help meet the needs of clients, advisors, and employees. You’ll develop team members through coaching, career development, mentoring, and motivational techniques while creating an environment grounded in accountability, collaboration, integrity, and service excellence.

You’ll play a key role in resolving escalated client issues, helping clients navigate Schwab products and services, and anticipating potential risk across team and operational activities. This role requires the ability to assess issues quickly, present proactive solutions, prioritize competing needs, and communicate clearly with team members, peers, and leaders. You’ll also contribute creative ideas that benefit the business, support strategic direction, and partner with other managers and leaders on cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7, 63/66, and 9 and 10 or 24 licenses required.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching employees to achieve and exceed performance standards.
• Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to lead through change and engage effectively across audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities within established deadlines.
• Positive attitude, team orientation, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a high level of integrity and ethics.
• Ability to embrace change and innovation while identifying creative solutions that benefit the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven project management experience.
• Experience resolving escalated client or advisor issues and helping clients or advisors navigate products and services.
• Ability to anticipate operational or client risk and implement proactive solutions.
• Experience partnering with managers and leaders on cross-departmental projects or initiatives.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
