This position involves primarily servicing Schwab’s HNW international clients. Specialists handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and inbound chats. Providing single-point-of-contact resolution to all client issues, taking ownership to ensure completion, and being able to have nuanced, high-level conversations about HNW client needs including discussing trading and advice products, investing fundamentals including impacts of tax and estate laws on non-US clients. Provide a single point of resolution when handling inbound calls, chats, and emails from Global Services HNW clients and US customers who prefer speaking in Spanish or Chinese. The Global Private Client Services team will serve as a single point of contact for predominantly non-trader HNW customers who need help with their account. Maintaining high service levels and high client satisfaction are primary goals of this team. In addition to taking inbound client requests, this team will also perform outbound calling campaigns to this client segment for special projects or service needs to maintain the high experience we aim for this special client segment.
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in Spanish.
- Series 7, 63, 9/10 licenses required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years’ experience servicing retail international clients and an equivalent level of knowledge of securities industry required.
- Strong knowledge of Schwab’s international client rules, jurisdictional governance, product limitations and nuances with servicing non-US customers.
- Extensive Intl HNW experience.
Preferred:
- Strong experience in problem resolution and the display of client empathy.
- Must have proven ability to put the needs of clients first, be single-point contact for client issues, and resolution follow-up.
- Must display excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional Designations (CFP, AAMS, AWMA, etc…) preferred.
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
