The Asset Transfer Services (ATS) Department balances incoming and outgoing transfer requests for Schwab clients. ATS strives to lead the industry by crafting the best transfer experience for our clients, internal business partners, and contra/brokerage firms.

As a Team Manager in ATS, you will lead a diverse group of 8-15 individuals who assist clients with their transfer requests. The ideal candidate is a self-driven and proven leader who can inspire, motivate, and effectively manage people at different stages in their career or professional development.  You will lead the team through exciting and transformational initiatives in line with the business and firm objectives, provide supervision and oversight, hold individuals accountable through coaching and feedback, and apply sound business judgement when handling complex and/or highly sensitive situations.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Series 7 required
  • Series 9/10 or 24 required (may consider Condition of Employment)
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services, banking, or operations industry
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with multiple systems in a dual monitor environment, and basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office products) are required.
  • Be a self-starter, proactive to identify and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Experience managing the day-to-day business activities of the team and deliver on business results while focusing on risk management.
  • Cultivate and foster strong employee engagement on the team and within the department.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong, trusted, working relationships within the department, with clients, business partners, senior leadership, and contra firms.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
