The International Client Development Team is a dedicated and specialized team within International Services that works closely with newand prospectiveclients to introduce Schwab andidentifyclient needs. As the first contact with Schwab, delivering a strong first impression and helping clients navigate Schwab’s extensive products and servicesis a criticalcomponenttothe positive experience we strive for in International Services.
Key Responsibilities:
The Intl CDT Investment Consultant will proactivelyengagenew and prospective international clientsto helpthem understandSchwab International’sproducts and services. In addition toproactiveoutbound calls, this rolewillalsorespond toinbound calls frominternationalprospects. Intl CDT professionals will useEDGE touncover clients’financial goals andguide them toappropriatesolutions, including advisory services where availableordirect hand-offs toInternational Branch FCs. Thisunique business development rolerequiresstrong relationship-building skills,activelistening, and a strong commitmentto helping international clientsmake the most oftheir USDinvestingexperience.
Available shifts start from 5:30am to 10:30am EST (and will be discussed during the offer)
What you have
Required minimum skills and qualifications:
- Direct experience working with international cross-border clients
- Must have a passion for client relationship building and business development
- Familiarity of Schwab’s products and services and the positioning of needs-based products and services
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a complex and jurisdictional nuanced environment isrequired
- Familiarity with international client rules, jurisdictional governance, productavailabilityand nuances with servicing non-US customers is preferred
- Series 7 isrequired
- Series 66(or 63 and 65)isrequiredbut may be obtained under a condition of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish languageproficiencyis preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in financial services including a strong understanding of the US markets, economic indicators, and financial environment
- Series 9/10 or 24/4 are preferred
