In Advisor Services (AS) we have built our business on serving the needs of RIAs and advancing an industry that helps the advisor and their clients thrive. We understand their needs, and work side by side providing them the support to help them manage their firm and meet their goals.
What you’ll do:
As a Product Management Director IC, you will perform analysis, manage coordination with platform owners/leaders, drive alignment and execute business strategy through planning, to achieve Advisor Services & Core Digital Solutions business goals and deliver solutions that will enable advisors to have efficient and seamless experiences with Schwab using technology.
Key responsibilities of this Product Management Director IC role include:
- Develop planning and strategy to drive completion of initiatives important to AS Core Digital Solutions & Advisor Experience & Platform that supports Advisor Services and firm business objectives.
- Effectively communicate with new/existing partners to share recent and upcoming priorities, and long-term roadmap/goals.
- Facilitate and drive sharing of platform strategy with partners on a regular basis.
- Develop internal communications and presentations based on roadmaps, strategic goals and top initiatives.
- Provide regular and concise updates to leadership.
- Maintain a strong band of communication with internal business partners, related 3rd party partners and leaders.
- Drive alignment and understanding of priorities, business strategy, trade-off decisions and investment with stakeholders.
- Recommend scalable process improvements; identify and share best practices and tools
- Establish trusted relationships with partners and leverages internal network.
- Capture stakeholder concerns, and dependencies and implement refinements to an overall roadmap plan.
- Additional projects and tasks based on business needs
What you have
- Experience and education
- 5–10 years of product ownership, product management, or business experience related to trading functionality.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services or a related business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Communication, influence, and leadership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, fact-based messages.
- Proven ability to influence, build relationships, and lead work across cross-functional teams.
- Credibility with peers and stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and action.

- Extensive experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
