The Corporate Actions team sets up and processes mandatory and voluntary events (reorgs, calls, redemptions/maturities, bankruptcies, distributions, and class actions) for Custody and Asset Services. We focus on accurate, timely processing that delivers a premier client experience in a controlled environment where employees feel valued and engaged.
What you’ll do:
As Corporate Actions Team Lead, you oversee end-to-end daily corporate action processing for client-held securities—ensuring accurate setup, reconciliation, exception resolution, and risk oversight—while providing day-to-day leadership for the team.
- Identify stock record and payment allocation risk; balance and reconcile stock records with U.S. and global custodians and transfer agents.
- Escalate and resolve discrepancies and exceptions promptly.
- Communicate issues clearly to peers and leaders; maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.
- Bring strong analytical, resolution, and time-management skills; multitask and follow through.
- Leverage 5+ years of corporate actions experience to guide daily processing and controls.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of corporate actions processing experience
- Licensing: SIE and Series 99 (minimum)
- Experience across corporate action types (reorgs, distributions, calls/redemptions)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience across corporate action types (reorgs, distributions, calls/redemptions)
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of the corporate actions lifecycle; familiarity with Legacy BlueZone and related reconciliation data flows
- Ability to navigate foreign market/custodian scenarios and settlement challenges
- Experience working in a controlled environment with supervisory procedures, regulatory, and audit requirements
- Ownership mindset for team leadership and outcomes
- Excellent time management; ability to perform under pressure
- Collaborative approach and focus on process improvement
- Build relationships to gather information, align stakeholders, and drive results
- Anticipate impacts to stakeholders and adjust approach accordingly
- Propose solutions that balance business, risk, and client needs
- Partner with the manager to meet service levels and proactively mitigate risk
