This is an entry level management position within Operational Services Account Solutions (OSAS), which is the primary operations support department for New Accounts, Account Maintenance, and Principal Reviews and Approvals. OSAS provides service to multiple business units including but not limited to our retail clients and financial advisors.
What You Are Good At:
As an OSAS Principal Team Lead, you demonstrate strong leadership by managing, mentoring, and developing a team of 10–12 principals. You play a key role in advancing business objectives through cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities are as follows:
Team Development
• Coach and develop a team of 10–12 principals through feedback, training, and one-on-one support.
• Foster engagement, knowledge sharing, and skill development across the team.
• Encourage team members to contribute to problem-solving and leadership initiatives.
• Communicate performance metrics, policy updates, and procedural changes.
Operational Oversight
• Manage daily workflows, service levels, and escalations within defined authority.
• Oversee delegated activities and support adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for OSAS policies, procedures, and product offerings.
• Support service queues and adapt to changing business needs.
• Model integrity, professionalism, and service excellence.
Process Improvement
• Identify and recommend process improvements that support efficiency and risk management.
• Apply LEAN principles to improve workflows and business outcomes.
• Partner with OSAS leaders and business partners to support key initiatives.
• Lead or support cross-functional projects that encourage innovation and team input.
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses required.
- Active FINRA Series 24 or 9/10 and Series 4 licenses required.
- Minimum 2 years of OSAS Principal processing experience.
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Options/financial services industry with minimum three years prior industry experience preferred, including account product and services, and coaching and development
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of client service or management experience preferred.
- 3+ years of financial services industry experience preferred, including options, account products, services, coaching, and development.
- Demonstrated commitment to client-centric solutions.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and accountability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to resolve day-to-day escalations effectively.
- Partnership-oriented approach with operational services, workflow solutions, compliance, risk, and other business partners.
- Team-oriented with the ability to support team effectiveness and development.
- Ability to support company initiatives and influence others through leadership.
- Strong listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply company systems.
- Military experience may be substituted for education and/or experience.
