This position will work with Bank Operations (Check Operations) associates and Leadership to help advance check operations through day-to-day complex processing and operational tasks, business transformation efforts, delivering service and client experience for both retail and advisors clients, as well as providing a controlled and focused environment that allows our associates to feel valued and engaged.
What you'll do:
- Operate as a member of the Check Operations Team, representing the business during development and implementation of transformation efforts.
- Build relationships with key business partners in Bank & Brokerage Operations, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Project Services, Investors and Advisors Services.
- Exhibit flexibility and excellent prioritization skills to effectively meet deadlines and manage interruptions without risking the success of department goals.
- Proactively look for opportunities that will enhance and transform the business
- High degree of knowledge of Banking Operations (Check Operations) processes, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates the ability to act decisively in making risk-based, informed decisions.
- Exhibit flexibility and excellent prioritization skills to effectively meet check operations SLA business requirements, and department goals,
- Exhibit positive attitude, team oriented, enthusiastic, professional, forward thinker and strong work ethic.
- Assist and support team members in day-to-day operations including but not limited to, complex client requests, business transformation efforts,
- Apply critical thinking skills to high-risk transactions.
- Ability to weigh the costs, benefits, and risks in decision making.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify core and root cause of gaps and weaknesses.
- Ensure that departmental processes and procedures are updated to reflect risk and regulatory requirements. This would include but not limited to Job aides, procedures, tests guides etc..
- Serve as SME supporting department projects and initiatives. Includes representing the department in meetings with internal and external business partners, leading team education, communication, and procedural documentation.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
- Demonstrated success in an associate or similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of the brokerage/banking services industry with prior Bank and/or Brokerage experience. (3-5 Years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- FINRA Series (SIE,7, 63) (Preferred)
- Proficient technical skills, including knowledge of Microsoft applications,
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent operational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage sophisticated and complex work.
