Your Opportunity
The Treasury and Securities Lending Application (TeSLA) team is looking for a motivated Senior Software Developer for our Securities Lending team. Working closely with our various business partners and stakeholders, this position will take on a key role in critical applications from in house developed to vendor SaaS Trading and Inventory Management systems. The Securities Lending tech team is critical to driving our technical delivery forward and solving business problems with solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex technology operations for managing Securities Lending business functions, with special emphasis around production support, platform migrations, release management, cross-team collaboration, and technical leadership. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world “Through Clients' Eyes.”
What You Are Good At
- Provide technical expertise on critical enhancement and maintenance development endeavors
- Engage with variety of staff: BSAs, Product Owners, Developers, QA, Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with team members and stakeholders
- Aid in delivering technical strategies and solutions, application development, and end-user services.
- Solve problems and provide support, taking responsibility to make decisions when appropriate.
- Take on diverse set of projects and tasks
- Communicate on a technical and non-technical level to all levels of staff and management.

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Hands on experience gained through 15+ years in a software development role.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure full stack solutions across backend (Java/Spring) and platform layers.
- Implement well-architected systems using design patterns, modular design, and clean coding practices; own end-to-end system design including APIs, data models, and performance optimization.Support message-oriented middleware, including RabbitMQ and IBM MQ, with experience in setup, configuration, and delivery.
- Build high-quality codebases with strong emphasis on readability, testability, maintainability, and extensibility.
- A strong knowledge of cloud technologies including cloud-ready architecture best practices. GCP and/or PCF in particular.
- Knowledge of application security practices to help ensure applications meet current security scan requirements.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly Securities Lending.
