The Margin Services – Risk Credit Loss Prevention group protects the both the brokerage firm and the bank from risk exposure related to cashiering and trading activities, oversees compliance with regulations outlined by both the firm and regulatory bodies, and accurately interprets regulations and communicates to customers firm policy regarding requirements.
Margin Services is seeking a Senior Team Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Margin Services – Risk Credit Loss team. This role includes managing associates across multiple Schwab locations who are responsible for identifying and mitigating risk exposure resulting from cashiering fraud, often combined with trading activity, while ensuring the team continues to serve as an excellent business partner throughout the firm.

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of industry experience.
- Series 7 and Series 9/10 or Series 24.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- Experienced people leader and/or team lead experience.
- An in-depth understanding of deposit, trading, and market risk.
- Excellent risk awareness and attention to details to accurately identify potential impact to the firm from unresolved risk due to fraud activity.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate with associates, business partners, and leadership.
- Strong leadership, motivational and coaching skills with ability to drive results and develop employees.
- Must have a good understanding of the various products that Schwab and its customers conduct business in.
- A history of integrating and working with people having diverse skill sets and experience levels.
- Proven experience working collaboratively, improving productivity and implementing ideas.
