As a Senior Manager in our Managed Investing (MI) group, you’ll have the opportunity to drive personalized service, which enables team members to build loyal clients by making ambitious decisions and increases organic growth among the MI client base. You’ll inspire a shared vision, so all team members provide outstanding service to the clients they serve. You’ll bring your passion for leadership to front line professionals who service clients enrolled in Managed Accounts at Schwab and will partner with other managers in the organization to ensure execution against the business imperatives, initiatives, and goals.
In addition to your team leadership, you’ll also work cross-functionally, ensuring operational, suitability, risk, and client experience opportunities are escalated or resolved, while gaining invaluable exposure to stakeholders across the firm. What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 7, 63, 9, 10 licenses (or equivalents)
- 2+ Years of previous managerial experience in financial services
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and modern portfolio theory
- Demonstrates business acumen in strategy, planning, execution, and process improvement
- Demonstrates critical thinking, analytical skills, problem solving, attention to detail, and intuition for business
- Anticipates potential risk issues pertaining to all facets of the business while presenting and implementing proactive solutions
- Ability to ensure that all Advice and Non Advice Reps are familiar with and adhere to all established policies and procedures
- Passion for service, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong work ethic, high level of integrity, strong client focus and desire to assist individuals in developing their career
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including confirmed listening skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, well organized manner
- Exhibits an “Owners Mentality”, considering broader needs of organization before making decisions
- Impacts the business through creation of scale and simplicity; partners on strategic initiatives
- Experience leading complex negotiations while maintaining a superior level of customer service
- Builds and strengthens leadership teams within and across segment and departments and demonstrates the ability to consistently deliver top results regardless of environment
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
