In this individual contributor role, you will be asked to switch gears throughout the day to assist with multiple business analyst projects. Flexibility, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of risk factors are key aspects of this role and the ideal candidate. Additionally, you will need to be equally comfortable with networking internally to research and resolve operational issues and conduct stakeholder analysis. Responsibilities vary from helping promote transformation at all levels within the department to more technical work such as website design and communication strategy.
What you'll do:
- Website management including creating new pages and modernizing existing pages for multiple business partners
- SparkLab idea management including facilitating meetings and networking with stakeholders
- Staying current on all industry and internal policies and procedures to better provide continuous improvement ideas.
- Communications specialist for the department
- Being a form SME that can work with the form’s owner to implement feedback and ensure updates stay on track.
- Building and sustaining strong relationships with key Schwab business partners both within the department and throughout the company
- Identifying and escalating issues within the department that need collaboration to find root causes and solutions
- Managing multiple tasks effectively by balancing high productivity with excellent quality
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
The ideal candidate will possess brokerage, back office, or operational experience coupled with strong communication skills. Cross-functional operational knowledge or processing experience in account opening, processing, cash transactions, and/or asset transfers is strongly desired. Ability to identify efficiencies in operations and workflow, and problem solve towards resolution is a plus.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of SparkLab administrative experience required
- 2+ years SharePoint website management and design experience required
- 2+ years Business Analyst experience required
- 2+ years managed account experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Support team growth via coaching and/or mentoring
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior attention to detail and highly accurate; strong sense of risk awareness
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills along with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple complex processes/projects
- Effective problem resolution and relationship management skills and a strong sense of teamwork
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently with little supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for daily communication and special projects relating to the role.
- Demonstrate the ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients and other Schwab business partners.
- Handle complex requests and escalations
- Problem-solving mindset strongly desired
- Experience working with Form Owners preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
