FCRM supports this mission by executing a best-in-class financial crimes risk management program focusing on the detection and mitigation of financial crimes risk to protect our clients and the firm.
Role Summary:
The Senior Manager, FCRM Training & Development is a People Leader role responsible for setting strategy and leading execution of Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) training, learning, and development initiatives. This role ensures enterprise financial crimes training programs are risk‑aligned, regulator‑ready, and designed to build sustainable capability across FCRM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the FCRM Training & Development strategy aligned to regulatory expectations, risk assessments, and business priorities.
- Own the annual FCRM Training Plan, including governance, documentation, and alignment to enterprise learning standards.
- Lead design and oversight of learning solutions including instructor‑led, virtual, blended, and self‑paced courses.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging, scalable learning experiences.
- Serve as a senior facilitator for high‑impact training sessions, leadership workshops, and large‑group learning forums.
- Establish facilitation standards and coach facilitators to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
- Lead development and delivery of financial crimes risk and regulatory training (BSA/AML, Sanctions/OFAC, Fraud, Conduct).
- Develop and deliver training that supports leadership priorities, employee professional development, and business initiatives.
- Partner with Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Audit, Testing, and enterprise learning teams to identify and address training needs.
- Establish metrics and reporting to demonstrate training effectiveness and ensure exam and audit readiness.
- Lead and develop training professionals, supporting performance, growth, and career development aligned to Schwab values.
What you have
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experienced people leader with a proven track record of leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in learning and development, including instructional design and curriculum governance.
- Proven facilitation experience delivering instructor‑led and senior‑level learning.
- Financial services experience within financial crimes, AML, fraud, compliance, or risk.
- Strong working knowledge of financial crimes regulations and training obligations.

- Reports to: Director, FCRM Awareness, Education, and Operations
