The Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) organization, part of Corporate Risk Management, safeguards the firm’s assets and reinforces Schwab’s position as the most trusted leader in finance. FCRM Shared Services drives governance, intelligence, reporting, and training initiatives that serve both clients and employees.
We are seeking a Senior Manager – Individual Contributor to support the FCRM Operations team, which oversees:
• Monitoring and processing asset recalls.
• Managing monthly write-offs and client credit reconciliations.
• Developing and maintaining training programs and operational procedures.
• Driving other critical operational functions to support FCRM objectives.
This role partners closely with teams across FCRM and first-line business units to coordinate capabilities and execute strategic fraud risk management initiatives. Success requires deep subject matter expertise in fraud and AML, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
What You’ll Do
• Lead operational processes for fraud risk management, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate across business units to align strategic priorities and execution.
• Analyze complex issues, develop actionable solutions, and implement improvements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Financial Crimes, including AML, OFAC, Anti-Bribery, and Fraud.
• Drive training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen team capabilities.
What you have

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in brokerage/financial services, operations, fraud, or client service.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Financial Crimes (AML, OFAC, Fraud, Anti-Bribery).
• Strong decision-making skills in regulatory or investigative environments.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership qualities with proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles
• Series 7, 24, and financial crimes certification
• Professional certifications (CAMS, CFE, or similar).
