Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The Manager, Business Strategy will help build the capabilities, programs, and practices that enable Custody and Asset Services (CAS) employees and teams to develop, solve problems, transform the way we work, and successfully navigate change.

This individual contributor will coordinate and execute CAS learning and development programs, fulfill CAS Transformation Catalyst (TCAT) responsibilities, and provide structured problem-solving and process-improvement support. The role will also coordinate activities that strengthen employee engagement, knowledge sharing, recognition, and professional development across CAS.

The Manager will partner with CAS leaders, managers, subject matter experts, transformation teams, Human Resources, Learning and Development, and other enterprise partners to translate organizational needs into practical programs and solutions. The role will balance program coordination with hands-on delivery, helping CAS build sustainable capabilities that support current priorities and prepare employees for future operational, technology, and business changes.

What You'll Do:

CAS TCAT and Change Adoption

Fulfill CAS TCAT responsibilities by coordinating the ambassador network, translating enterprise priorities into practical guidance, and addressing adoption barriers through communications, training, and engagement that build a transformation and continuous-improvement mindset.

Learning and Development

Execute and continuously improve the CAS learning and development program by assessing capability needs, building learning paths for onboarding, leadership, and future skills, and measuring participation, effectiveness, and business value.

Process Improvement and Problem Solving

Apply Lean Six Sigma, process mapping, and root-cause analysis to facilitate structured problem solving, implement and document solutions, and equip CAS teams to solve problems independently.

Employee Engagement and Development

Coordinate CAS engagement, recognition, and development activities, turning employee feedback into owned actions and sharing key insights with CAS leadership.
