Strategy and Initiatives Sr. Manager, Field Operations
The Field Operations team is responsible for designing and implementing programs that support the evolution of our client relationship models across our mass affluent, high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client segments. The team provides support and insight to deliver best practices, scale, and enhanced sales effectiveness across Retail sales channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, document, and implement scalable, automated solutions for Practice Assignment and Branch Information Change processes, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability.
- Serve as a strategic liaison across firm-wide partners to represent business needs, incorporate subject matter expertise, share best practices, and ensure alignment and seamless execution across Retail Sales channels.
- Support the development and evolution of how we serve the relationship and investment needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, including relationship and service model design, practice management infrastructure, rep and client experience, and performance
- Provide support across key strategic initiatives, including day-to-day management, project plans, executive updates, stakeholder feedback and performance measurement through data analysis and reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders to fully understand business problems, design elegant and efficient solutions and draft detailed requirements documentation.
- Own and manage a portfolio of recurring and ad hoc reporting, including ETL development and maintenance, documentation, data validation, and continuous improvement of analytics capabilities Communicating results to executive audiences including development of insights, actionable recommendations, and feedback loops
- Manage and support ad-hoc strategy projects, investigating / answering critical questions for senior executives around practice assignment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following capabilities:
- Experience utilizing and analyzing Charles Schwab practice assignment data and designing Practice Assignment solutions
- Proven experience serving as a Scrum Master, with certification preferred
- Hands on experience with automation and low code tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps, with a demonstrated ability to reduce manual work and improve process efficiency.
- Understand data architecture, tools, and applications with the ability to do data modeling, SQL/Big Query
- Experience with continuous build process using GitHub, CoPilot or similar tools
- A client-centric focus that keeps clients in the forefront of decisions and connects plans and actions to our purpose of serving investors and branch network
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver client experience initiatives, including evaluating opportunities and making recommendations based on the unique needs of the
- A passion for proactively seeking opportunities to make improvements, gain efficiencies and meet unknown needs.
- Develop creative solutions to reduce manual tasks including scripting, reporting, and process improvement.
- Ability to partner with technology and data teams to execute complex projects.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for learning and is an enthusiastic team player comfortable working on multiple subject matters simultaneously
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years in analytics, strategy, and/or data science is preferred.
- 5+ years of coding (SQL, Python, etc.) is preferred.
- Financial Services industry experience is preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
