Network Engineers at Charles Schwab partner closely with business leaders, IT teams, and infrastructure stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize network solutions that enable secure business communications, data access, and information security. Responsibilities include configuring and supporting network infrastructure, developing and maintaining network automation and configuration standards, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, and driving continuous improvement across the network environment. In addition, this role may create technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guidance to support effective network utilization and problem resolution across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and support enterprise network infrastructure.
Manage and optimize switching and wireless network environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, availability, and security issues.
Develop and maintain network configurations, standards, and documentation.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
Contribute to network modernization, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
Create user and operational documentation to support network services and common troubleshooting activities
