Schwab prioritizes client needs by offering a modern approach to wealth management. As a 529 Service Professional, you will help clients with education savings goals, focusing on the Schwab 529 Education Savings Plan within a dedicated team. Success in this role requires a strong client-centered attitude and commitment to helping clients reach financial objectives. Schwab's innovative investing is rooted in building trust through excellent service, with specialists providing unbiased guidance and one-on-one support for education saving.
Description of daily activities:
- Educate clients - engage clients in discussions focused on educating and providing guidance related to their education investing needs.
- Respond and resolve client needs using an expert knowledge of education products, services and the Schwab 529 website.
- Execute 529 transactions, respond to research requests, and provide 529 product and investment education to clients, FCs, RIAs and internal teams.
- Utilize multiple 529 systems to deliver outstanding client service.
- Build strong client and internal relationships - Work in a team-based environment with a diverse group of professionals focused on meeting the clients' needs.
- Collaborate with business partners including Schwab 529 Operations and external vendors to enhance the client and employee experience with the 529 product.
- Work with clients to uncover additional needs including and beyond their 529 accounts to deepen their relationship with Schwab.

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Series 7 & 63 licenses
- Successful completion of Schwab Service Academy SSA
- 2-3 years experience in Financial Services and/or Brokerage Services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to learn and explain complicated subjects
- Working knowledge of Schwab’s retail products and services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful candidates should display a passion for customer service, educating clients and problem solving in a fast-paced environment
- Practical time management, positive demeanor, enthusiasm, professionalism, a strong work ethic with a high integrity level
