Sr Manager, Business Strategy - Retirement Operations
Your Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Business Strategy, Retirement Operations will drive modernization initiatives across Retirement Plan Services and Broker Dealer Retirement Operations by balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
The primary focus will be oncreating, coordinating and executing frameworks for various initiatives that drive operational excellence (process optimization, scale and efficiency initiatives, integration planning, change etc.) to support the modernization of our Broker Dealer and Retirement Plan Operations.
The Senior Manager will influence cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.
Examples of the Senior Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Development of frameworks for various initiatives that drive operational efficiency and organizational readiness (scale and automation initiatives, people development, etc.)
- Facilitate program delivery & execution; managing risks, commitments, and accountability across initiatives
- Provide thought partnership to Operations businesses leaders and key stakeholder partners on a range of topics
- Create executive level read outs to facilitate decision making and support ongoing business needs (townhalls, people leader updates, etc.)
- Make decisions amid ambiguity; assess risk/impact and escalate trade-offs as needed
- Link initiatives to strategy; anticipate downstream impacts, risks, and opportunities
- Drive alignment with clear communication and decision forums/documentation
The Senior Manager willexecute and manage a portfolioofstrategicinitiatives, driving enterprise-level visibility and measurable impact on operational performance, scalability, and client outcomes.

What you have
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience infinancial services with 5+ years in an operations or strategy role
- Self-initiator, with a propensity toward action and driving continuous progress towards delivery milestones
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities, adapting to change, and navigating uncertainty
- High attention to detail, proactive approach, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Experience advising senior leaders on strategy development and execution
- A solid understanding of how to manage people and processes through large-scale organizational change
- Experience leading enterprise or large-scale transformation initiatives
- Experience working with large data sets to synthesize information to develop compelling fact-based hypothesis
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Experience managing multiple concurrent large-scale initiatives
- The ability to balance between providing detailed functional requirements and articulating high-level strategic direction
- Experience with the following tools and systems; Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, CoPilot(or other generative AI Tools).
Preferred qualifications:
- 10+yearsofexperience in business analysis or strategy, preferably with consulting firm or strategy group within a large organization
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience identifying and deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enterprise operations settings
