Your Opportunity

Schwab remains committed to providing increased visibility to career growth opportunities and job requirements. This posting announcement is part of increased transparency and while all qualified applicants will be reviewed and considered, this organization has a preferred candidate identified for this role.

The Senior Team Manager is a key leader within the Schwab Advisor Network (SAN), part of the Wealth Offers, Operations & Specialists organization in Wealth and Advice Solutions, reporting to the Managing Director of SAN. This role is central to advancing a full-service managed investing offer—driving growth, strengthening RIA partnerships, and improving the client, branch, and advisor experience.

You will operate across Investor Services, Advisor Services, and key control and support functions, serving as both a relationship owner for large firms and a subject matter expert for the SAN offer.

What You’ll Do
You will lead at the intersection of strategy, execution, and partnership—owning outcomes and driving alignment across a complex, matrixed environment.

  • Own and manage relationships with key RIA firms; build insights to enhance the SAN offer with a focus on service, simplicity, and scale.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the client, advisor, and branch experience.
  • Develop business cases, analyses, and executive-level recommendations to guide prioritization and decision-making.
  • Lead large, complex initiatives end-to-end—from strategy and planning through execution and delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Investor Services, Advisor Services, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Oversight.
  • Maintain an external perspective on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs.
  • Partner across the firm to define target-state experiences, requirements, and implementation priorities.
  • Act as a SAN subject matter expert, advising on how the offer is accessed, integrated, and scaled across the retail channel.
  • Evaluate and improve offer effectiveness through ongoing field engagement and performance insights.

What You Bring

  • Client-centric leadership: Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders, grounded in client outcomes.
  • Strategy to execution: Strong track record leading complex initiatives from concept through implementation, with disciplined prioritization and decision-making.
  • Analytical rigor: Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights that drive growth and improve relationship quality.
  • Executive communication: Clear, concise, and compelling written and verbal communication tailored to senior audiences.
  • Operational excellence: Strong planning, organization, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment: Demonstrated ability to make decisions and trade-offs with incomplete information.
  • Influence and collaboration: Skilled at building consensus and driving outcomes across diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ownership mindset: Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and delivers results with urgency.

What you have

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience (financial services or management consulting preferred); strong understanding of the RIA industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, ThinkCell, and Adobe
  • FINRA Series 7 preferred

Additional Experience (Preferred)

  • Nice to have, not required: Experience with and knowledge of branches, advisors, and wealth management services, different types of investment products (UMA, ETFs, Mutual Funds, etc.), client-facing advisor experience
