The Senior Manager, Marketing Deployment, is a solutions-oriented people leader responsible for managing and developing a team of Marketing Operations Deployment Specialists who consult with business partners and execute participant communication strategies. This leader will report to the Director, Workplace Marketing Enablement and collaborate closely with marketing communications, client-facing teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure communications and digital assets are delivered with quality, consistency, efficiency, and measurable impact. Focus areas will include coaching team members, prioritizing and balancing incoming work, strengthening operational processes, near-perfect communications execution, removing barriers, and ensuring the team delivers communications that engage participants in their workplace retirement and equity plans and support their broader financial needs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader with strong operational discipline, high attention to detail, and a passion for developing talent. They should be able to lead a team through a high volume of complex requests, set priorities, coach sound decision-making, and create an environment where team members can deliver consistent, high-quality work. They should be comfortable consulting with and influencing stakeholders, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and translating business needs into clear direction for the team. Finally, this leader will be able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational support, helping the team navigate ambiguity, manage risk, and continuously improve how work gets done.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading communication deployment operations:Manage a team responsible for reviewing, creating, and fulfilling client-facing communications and digital assets with consistent quality and timeliness.
- Developing and coaching team members:Provide day-to-day leadership, feedback, prioritization support, and professional development for operations deployment specialists.
- Collaborating with marketing communications and client-facing teams:Partner with stakeholders to evaluate solutions and alternatives in support of plan sponsor communication strategies and the participant experience.
- Driving operational efficiency and impact:Identify opportunities to improve intake, prioritization, template usage, workflow management, documentation, and quality control so the team can scale effectively.
- Managing workload, risk, and quality:Oversee the fulfillment of communication requests from proofing and content review through approvals and digital or print fulfillment, ensuring deadlines, standards, and compliance expectations are met.
- Creating and sustaining well-documented plans:Ensure the team communicates clearly with partners, sets expectations, documents decisions, and maintains transparency throughout each request.
- Using insights to improve participant experiences:Monitor trends, partner feedback, operational data, and recurring communication needs to improve efficiency, consistency, and the participant experience.
- Contributing to a culture of innovation, engagement, and accountability:Lead change management, support ongoing team evolution, and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex business needs into clear direction for team members and stakeholders.
- Strong project, workflow, and resource management skills; able to balance competing priorities, manage capacity, and help teams drive work to completion smoothly.
- Detail-oriented, comfortable operating under tight timelines, and able to model sound judgment, accountability, and an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to influence, motivate, and align people across functions and levels.
- Experience improving operational processes, strengthening quality controls, and using data or business results to inform decisions and drive participant outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing communications for financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level project management tools such as Workfront, Jira, or similar workflow management platforms, including using tools to monitor workload, reporting, and team performance.
- A positive demeanor, sense of humor, and the flexibility to lead through multiple deadlines, changing demands, ambiguity, and continuous improvement.
