At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location.

The BSA Senior Manager provides people leadership and operational oversight across the business organizations supported by the BSA function. This role is critical to ensuring day-to-day leadership, workforce planning, operational continuity, talent development, hiring coordination, and strategic guidance for the BSA organization. Key responsibilities include oversight of full-time employees and contractors, employee coaching and development, hiring and contractor management, workforce reporting and analysis, team communications, engagement activities, BSA allocation management, and cross-functional leadership partnership.

Without this leadership role, the organization would face increased operational risk, reduced employee support and development, delays in staffing decisions, diminished reporting and governance visibility, and reduced oversight capacity for strategic Tier 1 initiatives, including FSC Salesforce / Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Client Central Modernization, AI adoption, process improvement, and business analysis practice maturity.

This role supports the Sales, Service, and Marketing Technology area. Strong understanding of Client Central, Salesforce, Marketing Technology, and related business capabilities will be essential to successfully leading the BSA team and aligning resources to business priorities.

In addition to the Senior Manager’s technical expertise expectations, this role is responsible for the following people leadership accountabilities:

  • Assess the technical knowledge, business acumen, and skill levels of team members to identify individual and team development needs.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to strengthen team members’ technical expertise, business understanding, and delivery execution.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and consistent application of business analysis practices across the team.
  • Create an environment of learning, growth, accountability, and engagement that motivates team members and enables them to reach their full potential.
