Our Transition Managers provide tools to help our Advisors meet the needs of their clients and grow on our platform.  We put the growth and education of these Advisors at the center of everything we do.  Transition Managers have a deep expertise and understanding of the industry and this segment, which allows them to provide our clients with the tools and resources to be successful. A Sr. Transition Manager should have a proven track record of success in Advisor Wealth Services. The individual should be experienced with managing escalations and finding flexible solutions for Investment Advisor clients.

What you have


  • 5+ years of financial services experience and understanding of RIA industry.
  • 3+ years of Schwab service experience.
  • Superior knowledge of Advisor Wealth Services policies, procedures and products such as Schwab Advisor Center and RIA EdCenter.
  • Ability to coordinate training needs as well as service issues for multiple full-service deals at the same time.
  • Expert in delivering and leading professional presentations for large and small groups.
  • Proven track record of exceptional communication, follow up, and relationship management skills with advisors and internal partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize business needs and manage time effectively.
  • Perform as an independent self-starter; have a proven ability to deliver excellent client service while anticipating and resolving challenges under your own initiative.
  • Has established themselves as a SME on a variety of topics including complex business processes, segmentation nuances, digital workflows and all aspects of Schwab Advisor Center.
  • Series 7/63 and Series 9/10 or 24 required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Own and lead team projects/initiatives. Be a promoter and influencer while demonstrating positive change management behaviors.
  • Initiative to create change through process improvements, training and streamlining functions.
  • Passion for ideation, professionalism, positivity and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork.
  • Mentor numerous individuals on the team and serve as an escalation resource.
  • Ability to travel onsite for training and conversion support as needed (~5-10%).
