Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) is the part of Corporate Risk Management that
protects our clients and our firm from financial crimes by assisting all Schwab enterprises in the
assessment of Fraud, BSA/AML/Sanctions, and Conduct risk presented to our business units. The
FCRM Productivity Tools and Enhancements team is responsible for data visualization and
SharePoint & Power Platforms development that enable FCRM’s teams to prevent, detect, and
handle financial crimes risk.


We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and detail-focused Sr. Developer of Productivity Tools
and Enhancements who is passionate about designing new tools and processes for the Financial
Crimes Risk Management teams. This team member will create and manage solutions and
visualizations that empower decision-makers with actionable insights that increase productivity,
improve competitive edge, and enhance workplace efficiency. This role requires a highly
resourceful, self-motivated individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through
influence and collaboration across FCRM.


This individual will report to the Director of Productivity Tools and Enhancements and will be
responsible for driving and supporting a range of key activities to advance and complete the
group’s vision and strategic agenda.


What you are good at


• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, production-grade solutions across analytics,
automation, and platforms.
• Own end-to-end delivery including requirements gathering, solution design, development,
testing, and deployment.
• Develop advanced dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI.
• Leverage Alteryx, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric for data transformation and modeling.
• Develop Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud Flows, and Desktop automation solutions.
• Build and maintain SharePoint Online solutions using JSON, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Leverage AI tools including M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, and coding agents.
• Design architecture and documentation using tools such as Mermaid.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise platforms such as Cloudability, BMC MyIT, and Schwab
CLAW.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and control requirements while driving continuous
improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in data visualization, automation, and collaboration platforms, including
Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint Online, with experience integrating
enterprise data sources using SQL, Alteryx, and related technologies
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them
into scalable, user-centric solutions that align with business objectives and operational needs
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends,
and deliver actionable insights that support decision-making and risk management
• Advanced problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to think beyond immediate
requirements, navigate ambiguity, and design sustainable, long-term solutions in dynamic
environments
• Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of
translating technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language and influencing stakeholders
across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-
functional teams, while also maintaining the ability to work independently and take ownership of
deliverables
• Commitment to knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring, enabling team scalability,
consistency, and long-term sustainability of solutions
• High learning agility, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems, tools, and evolving business
conditions, including emerging technologies such as AI-assisted development tools
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet
deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing
business needs in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
• Positive, proactive work ethic, with comfort operating in dynamic, high-demand environments
while maintaining focus, accountability, and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Python or advanced scripting.
• Knowledge of AML, Fraud, or risk management domains.
