As a mentor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assisting Nesting Manager with cohort huddles, debriefs and at times facilitating.
- Lead, train, and support a cohort of 15 or more professionals during Nesting phases (SE, TIE, AB)
- Coach daily and provide actionable feedback on client interactions, live and via chat.
- Coaching sessions: Live monitoring, conduct side-by-sides, listen to recorded calls documented in Nexidia.
- Continuous assessment of the nesting experience and proactively provide solutions to ensure a positive brand is maintained
- Identifying HR and operational risk concerns - elevating to Nesting Manager.
- Ensure consistency in all client interactions through coaching and feedback, including across the mentor population
- Evaluate data and present trend analysis to Nesting Team Manager with a solution-oriented mindset
- Train, support, and review Career Building Opportunities professional’s (CBOer’s) work.
- Serve CS&S clients to ensure that mentors maintain through the client eyes mentality during new hire professional's classroom and licensing phases.
- Take escalations and complete post-call survey client call outs for trainees. Responsible for training, onboarding, and coaching of new Nesting Mentors and CBO participants.
- Motivate, inspire, and instill confidence for licensed professionals to develop their career.
- Coach and develop other mentors to improve their coaching skills
- Take lead on process improvement and effectively partner with business partners/nesting managers
- Manage back-end logistics to ensure nesting portion of the program is streamlined and organized
- Other duties as assigned.
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 7, 9, 10 and 63 licenses required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong facilitation skills.
- Two or more years in a CS&S Front-line role
- Strong knowledge of the securities industry and investment vehicles (e.g., IRA, brokerage accounts, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-directed, self-motivated, comfortable being supported virtually and able to work independently on a variety of tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities demonstrated by proactively gathering, analyzing, and delivering information in both verbal and written formats.
- Exhibited success in creating a “through the client eyes” experience with a focus on proactive and productive conversations.
- Passion for mentoring others in teaching processes, coaching processes, and employee development skills for future leadership success.
- Mastery level coaching pf new hires in the Schwab Service Academy program
- Proven ability to coach and develop other mentors in the program
- Strong understanding of the logistics of the SSA Program and nesting support
- Familiarity with SSA business partners and shown ability to seek collaborative solutions
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
