Schwab Advisor Services, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. Is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology, and operational support to registered independent advisory firms (RIAs). In addition to custody services, Schwab Advisor Services provides practice management and consultative support to help independent advisors start, build, and grow their businesses. Advisor Services works with more than 7,000 independent investment advisory firms with ~$1.5 trillion under management.

As a Learning Manager within the AWS Employee Onboarding and Training Team, our mission is to ready and advance the performance of both new and tenured employees to deliver world class service to our Advisors and clients through job training and business model evolution enablement in support of the AWS Vision.

This role will be responsible for interacting with cross-site teams, internal stakeholders, technology partners, as well as Business Partners and Leaders across the organization to deliver structured high performance learning journeys that provides the knowledge and skills practice to new and tenured employees across all roles within Service, Workforce Solutions (WST Ops), and Alliance, including new to role training, up-skilling and promotional training based on the AS business strategy and service professional objectives. Delivery takes place via different methods such as in person and/or virtually. To effectively drive learning strategies, this role is also responsible for managing projects and adherence to quality standards and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of the AWS organization processes and procedures with the expertise to navigate Schwab systems and operations workflow solutions
  • Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with leadership and team members
  • Expertise in facilitating and presenting formal training to a variety of audiences and methods such as in person and/or virtually
  • Proficiency to anticipate and resolve problems under your own initiative while also working in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to embrace, pivot, and shift focus based on changing priorities and/or the business environment and champion innovative ideas
  • Professionalism, positivity, passion for developing others and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and teamwork
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing priorities within established timeframes

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with WebEx, MyTraining, iKnow Sharepoint
  • Minimum of 3 years in AWS preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
