In Schwab International Services, we work to bring the best of Schwab to clients around the world.

Schwab International is a fast-growing business within Investor Services serving clients living outside the U.S., supporting domestic clients in languages other than English, and managing the company’s non-U.S. dollar products and services. In addition to driving retail growth, the team supports Advisor Services and Workplace to help advance their growth objectives.

The Director, International Business Strategy, Analytics & Reporting reports to the Managing Director of International Business Operations and serves on the International Services Leadership Team. This role leads the International Business Analytics & Reporting team and the Workforce Management team, with accountability for translating business strategy into actionable plans, scalable processes, workforce insights, and decision-ready reporting that advance International Services growth, client experience, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• International Business Strategy: Partner with International Services leadership to develop and advance business strategy, evaluate opportunities, define priorities, and translate strategic objectives into measurable plans and outcomes.
• Analytics & Reporting Leadership: Lead the International Business Analytics & Reporting team in delivering high-quality business intelligence, performance reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights. Establish consistent metrics and reporting standards that improve transparency and support informed decision-making.
• Business Process Strategy & Improvement: Lead the design, evaluation, and continuous improvement of end-to-end business processes across International Services. Identify opportunities to simplify work, strengthen controls, improve scalability, and enhance the client and employee experience.
• Workforce Management Leadership: Lead the Workforce Management team and develop strategies for capacity planning, forecasting, staffing, scheduling, and resource optimization. Connect workforce decisions to business demand, service expectations, and growth plans.
• Business and Investment Planning: Partner with International Services leadership, Finance, and key business partners to shape business and investment plans, develop business cases, inform prioritization, and align resources to strategic goals.
• Cross-Functional Execution & Change Leadership: Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance International Services priorities. Establish clear governance, ownership, milestones, and measures of success to strengthen accountability and execution across the business and enterprise.
• Communication & Influence: Synthesize complex business, operational, workforce, and financial information into clear recommendations and executive-level communications. Build alignment and influence decisions across a broad range of stakeholders.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years of experience in business strategy, business analytics, reporting, business process management, workforce management, operations, or related leadership roles.Proven experience leading teams responsible for analytics, reporting, workforce planning, or business process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to translate data and complex business issues into actionable insights, recommendations, and strategic plans.
• Strong relationship-building, influencing, communication, and change leadership skills across all levels of an organization.
• May require international travel.

Core Skills for Success

• Expertise in business strategy, analytics and reporting, performance measurement, process improvement, and workforce planning.
• Advanced ability to develop executive-ready insights and presentations using data visualization, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to lead through influence, build strong partnerships, and drive disciplined execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Purpose-driven people leader with sound judgment, curiosity, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Consulting experience preferred.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence and workforce management tools preferred.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
