As Director of Custody and Asset Services, Mutual Fund Operations, you will lead key operational teams supporting a multi-trillion mutual fund platform. This role oversees the delivery of stable, scalable, and efficient operations, ensuring high standards in risk management, client experience, and cross-functional collaboration. You will drive continuous improvement and nurture a culture of accountability and engagement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation initiatives, including process optimization, operating model enhancements, and the adoption of new tools or capabilities to improve scalability and resiliency.
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of AS dedicated Mutual Fund Trade Desk and Mutual Fund back-office operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent execution of core processes.
  • Foster employee engagement through initiatives that promote motivation, retention, and a supportive work environment.
  • Drive operational excellence across mutual fund servicing activities, balancing client experience, risk management, and efficiency in a high-volume environment.
  • Serve as a key business partner and stakeholder liaison, building strong relationships with internal partners and influencing outcomes across organizational boundaries.
  • Establish and maintain operational discipline, governance, and escalation frameworks to identify, assess, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues, client impacts, and cross-functional dependencies, ensuring decisive problem-solving and resolution.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and empowerment, enabling teams to deliver results and contribute to the organization’s success.

What you have


To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Mutual Funds and Operations, with demonstrated depth across servicing, processing, and operational support functions.
  • Proven senior leadership experience within a complex, high‑volume operational environment.
  • Strong ability to engage, influence, and partner with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional business partners.
  • Demonstrated transformational mindset, with experience driving change, process improvement, and operational modernization.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate operational detail into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
