Trader Service Sr. Team Managers provide team-based leadership within the Trader Service organization. Schwab Trader Service Mangers act as market and trading experts for Schwab to educate, guide, and assist clients.

Sr. Team Managers inspire and model behaviors that enhance client relationships. This role drives personalized service, enabling Trader Service professionals to enhance client loyalty by making mature business decisions while deepening relationships within the Active Trader client base. The Trader Service Sr. Team Manager inspires a shared vision, supporting team members providing outstanding service to Active Trader clients via telephone and via email.
As a Trader Service Sr. Team Manager, you’ll drive results by coaching proactive behaviors that enrich the client experience through market knowledge and education. In addition, the Sr. Team Manager facilitates team trading and service activities, including technical analysis/guidance and trading platform support. Accountabilities include an intense focus on timely and relevant supervision, training, audit/compliance activities, and total performance management. Additional responsibilities include driving exceptional satisfaction and loyalty scores, call metrics, and delivering appropriate client solutions. A strong coaching background serving tenured and experienced employees is highly desired.
What you have
Required minimum skills and qualifications:
- Active FINRA Series 7, 63, 9, 10 licenses (Series 3 and 34 may be required post hire)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience with staffing and workforce management
- Additional functional management or leadership training
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
- Exceptional leadership, motivational, and coaching skills resulting in professionals that drive results
- Robust trading, margins, and sales skills, an excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance responsibilities
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, tactical execution, analytical skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and mature business judgement
- Passion for service, positive outlook, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong client focus, and a desire to assist individuals in developing their career
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to manage trade-off decision with a focus on providing win-win solutions
- Capacity to work effectively to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
- The ability to deliver world class service while managing complex discussions with affluent clients
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
