In Advisor Services (AS) we have built our business on serving the needs of RIAs and advancing an industry that helps the advisor and their clients thrive. We understand their needs, and work side-by-side, providing them the support to help them manage their firm and meet their goals.
In this role you will:
- Create, implement, and deliver all trading-related education for RIAs; educational content is focused on highly complex topics including advanced options strategies, technical analysis, portfolio margin, equity and non-equity trading best practices, and macroeconomics
- Produce educational offering that will drive significant and sustained increase in advisor trading activity and behaviors
- Produce content for advisor-facing webcasts, immersive workshops, newsletters, and product and service collateral
- Produce and deliver advisor-facing educational options strategy writeups and overviews for client-specific portfolio needs
- Act as a point-of-contact for all Advisor Wealth Services trading offer related products and services
- Work closely with the thinkpipes and product support desks to increase platform awareness and adoption as well as assist in idea generation and development of new platform features
- Ensure content aligns with not only Schwab guiding principles but also with effective instructional design principles at the highest quality level
- Research, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify actionable areas of opportunity in AWS Trading and Schwab Advisor Wealth Strategy Consultant™ areas
- Develop a repeatable method to present findings and tell the story behind the data and products (PowerPoint)
- Collaborate on Marketing / PR strategies to ensure adoption and monetization of new product offers.
- Act as the liaison to Legal, Compliance and other AS group as needed in the marketing of new or continued products
- Manage the development of client-facing education materials, webcasts, etc., and internal field enablement.
- Exhibit executive presence in presenting data results to leadership via live/video interactions
- Develop tactical training/learning strategies while working with business partners and subject matter experts to address high impact opportunity areas
- Devise internal and external awareness campaigns to increase product adoption. Socialize the trading offer’s strategic objectives to key stakeholders, business partners, relationship management and business development teams.
- Conduct targeted outbound Advisor call campaigns related to Securities Lending Fully Paid, portfolio margin, and other trading related products and services that lead to win-win monetization and adoption of Trading products and services.
- Passionately deliver training to targeted audience through appropriate channel - classroom, team meetings, Webex, one on one sessions, emails, or job aid
- Lead multiple projects at one time while maintaining their respective deadlines
- Define and report out on the project’s measurable success indicators
- Stay continuously educated on Advisor Services policy, procedure, and technology changes to align and support training program and initiatives
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- Advisor Services experienced preferred
- Deep knowledge of listed equity and index options, including strategy design for income, hedging, and portfolio construction within a fiduciary framework
- Demonstrated experience working with or supporting RIAs, financial advisors, or institutional clients
- Strong background in delivering education and thought leadership through scalable channels such as webinars workshops, newsletters, and/or research publications
- Familiarity with portfolio risk management, margin rules, and regulatory considerations relevant to RIAs
- Ability to translate complex market and macroeconomic insights into clear, actionable guidance for an advisor audience
- Exceptional team collaboration skills and ability to work well with varied teams across the organization
- Strong communication, analytic, and writing skills, including the ability to research, analyze data, identify key themes, develop recommendations, and influence partners
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing priorities within established timeframes
- A ‘can do’, results-oriented approach to business
- Strong executive presence
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree; MBA preferred
- Series 7, 63 preferred
In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
