Senior Manager, SWA Ultra High Net Worth Offer Management
Your Opportunity
Schwab remains committed to providing increased visibility to career growth opportunities and job requirements. This posting announcement is part of increased transparency and while all qualified applicants will be reviewed and considered, this organization has a preferred candidate identified for this role.
At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the wealth management industry together.
The SWA Client and Offer Experience team defines and evolves the end-to-end experiences that shape how Schwab Wealth Advisory (“SWA”) clients engage with the offer and how employees deliver it. Team members bring the SWA value proposition to life by translating strategic priorities into experiences, processes, and capabilities that drive meaningful outcomes for clients, advisors, and the business.
The team partners across Wealth and Advice Solutions, Investor Services, Operations, Marketing, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and other enterprise partners to translate client needs, field insights, business priorities, and data into strategic initiatives that improve offer delivery, strengthen the advisor and client experience, and drive measurable business outcomes.
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the strategy, design, launch, and ongoing evolution of SWA’s Ultra High Net Worth (“UHNW”) offer. This is a highly visible, enterprise-wide initiative that will require equal strength in strategy, offer management, and disciplined project execution. The role is an individual contributor position that will lead through partnerships and influence, bringing structure and momentum to a complex, rapidly evolving body of work.
As a Senior Manager, you will:
- Own the SWA UHNW offer from strategy through execution and ongoing evolution, shaping the offer design including value proposition, client and advisor experience, services and capabilities, operating model, and prioritized roadmap.
- Develop a fact-based UHNW offer strategy by integrating client needs, advisor and field insights, competitive and market research, business data, industry trends, and Schwab’s broader wealth management priorities.
- Translate ambiguity into clear direction, defining problems, developing strategic options, articulating a point of view, and recommending practical paths forward for senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Lead a broad, cross-enterprise portfolio of work spanning numerous stakeholders and domains, with clear governance, milestones, decisions, dependencies, risks, and accountability.
- Drive the offer from concept through launch and iteration, coordinating design, testing, implementation, readiness, measurement, and continuous enhancement as client and business needs evolve.
- Build alignment and influence without direct authority across senior leaders, subject-matter experts, delivery teams, and control partners, navigating competing perspectives and trade-offs to maintain momentum.
- Craft compelling executive-level presentations and written narratives that communicate the vision, strategic rationale, recommendations, decisions, progress, and path forward for audiences at different levels across Schwab.
- Define success measures and evaluate outcomes, using results, feedback, and new insights to prioritize future enhancements and inform strategic decisions.
What you have
You are likely a strong fit for this role if you:
- Think like a strategist and operate like an owner, connecting client value, business objectives, competitive dynamics, economics, operational realities, and growth opportunities to shape a differentiated offer.
- Are ambitious and energized by building something significant, with the drive to take on a large, visible initiative and sustain momentum from initial concept through launch and long-term evolution.
- Bring strong consulting and structured problem-solving skills, using research, analysis, synthesis, and sound business judgment to turn complex questions into clear recommendations and action.
- Excel at program and project leadership, managing multiple interconnected workstreams, stakeholders, decisions, timelines, and dependencies while maintaining focus on the highest-value outcomes.
- Thrive in a rapidly changing environment, remaining flexible as priorities, scope, and the role itself evolve, and embracing a build, learn, and iterate approach.
- Influence across complex organizations, building trust and alignment among diverse partners and moving work forward despite competing priorities and viewpoints.
- Communicate with clarity and confidence, tailoring concise, leadership-ready narratives and recommendations for executives, cross-functional partners, and frontline teams.
- Take ownership and drive outcomes, proactively identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and creating accountability in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
This role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have including:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of professional experience in offer or product management, strategy consulting, internal strategy, business transformation, program leadership, or a related discipline.
- Strongly preferred: prior experience in ultra-high-net-worth wealth management
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy and design through implementation, launch, and measurable business results.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, including experience with market and competitive research, client insights, business-case development, and executive recommendations.
- Proven program and project management capabilities, with experience establishing governance, managing interconnected workstreams, and navigating risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across diverse teams and organizational levels without direct authority.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level, narrative-based presentations that provide a clear recommendation and path forward.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change, paired with intellectual curiosity, adaptability, resilience, and a continuous-learning mindset.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
