Job Summary
This role provides independent risk-function leadership within Corporate Risk Management (CRM), with accountability for leveraged client margin risk oversight and for setting the strategy and execution of CRM’s risk data architecture, governance, and platform modernization.
The role is most critically responsible for risk identification and monitoring of leveraged client margins, options, and futures positions. In a broader context supporting CRM, the role assumes responsibility for risk data centralization, architecture, and systems integration used in risk committee reporting among Financial Risk Management (FRM), Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM), Compliance, and Enterprise and Operational Risk Management (EORM). Data Centralization is additionally responsible for integration of CRM's data interfaces within the GCP Cloud infrastructure that feeds FRM's data-intensive quantitative models and analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience implementing and operating complex option-theoretic risk models in real time environments using live pricing, balances, positions, and market data.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of the Prism ecosystem, including model/platform performance, reliability, and calibration.
- Provide technical and domain stewardship across option-theoretic risk modeling, fraud/risk analytics, cloud data platforms, and application security and governance.
- Define platform capability requirements to support increasing scale and analytical complexity.
- Translate firm and risk-partner priorities into actionable technology and data roadmaps spanning fraud, risk, and compliance.
- Lead CRM’s risk data architecture strategy and execution, including prioritization, delivery oversight, and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Define and evolve platform capabilities to support scale, analytical complexity, and AI/ML-enabled detection and analytics.
- Lead cloud architecture and execution (GCP), including data governance, security, and compliance controls.
- Design and operate solutions in environments with high technical ambiguity, stringent controls, and competing constraints across multiple risk categories (credit, liquidity, market, AML, fraud, and compliance).
- Advance CRM scale and efficiency objectives through data centralization, architecture, and systems integration.
