The mission of Corporate Risk Management is to provide an integrated risk management strategy that supports delivery of predictable financial and operational performance to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes. Corporate Risk Management provides a second line of defense for Schwab by providing independent assessments of the firm’s risk by using models, controls, and systems to measure financial, operational, compliance, and legal risks to Schwab’s business, employees, and customers.

MarginRisk Analytics teamis responsible fordeveloping and supporting risk models and applications toidentifyaccounts and positions thathasexposure to margin risk. We are looking for a talented technical hands-on full stack software developer to solve challenges for both front-end and back-end,maintainCI/CD pipeline, handleIT related challenges. You’ll work and interact with softwareengineer, quantitativemodelerto support real-timesystemand webapplication. This is an individual contributor role.

What you are good at:

  • Build highly scalable .NET application, web services, web front end in cloud environment
  • Perform all development related activities to deliver high quality product, including writing and debugging code, reviewing pull requests, and documenting code and solution designs
  • Implement andmaintainCI/CD pipeline for applications
  • Resolve code smells,vulnerabilitiesand application security flaws
  • Manage,organizeand automate release process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements
  • Stay on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learningnew technologies

What you have


Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
  • 3+ yearsdemonstratedreal world experience with software development infinancialindustry.
  • 3+ years coding experience in C#, .NET, Java
  • 3+ years front-end languages experience,Javascriptframework andlibraries(e.g. Angular, Typescript, CSS)
  • Skillful in SQL,BigQueryand familiar with database technology
  • Experience in implementing business and quantitative logic.
  • Experience in Unit/Integration testing
  • Proficiencyin Git, understanding of CI/CD technologies includingGithubaction, Harness
  • Experience working in an Agile-Scrum environment

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with code quality and security assessment tool like Veracode, Blackduck, SonarQube is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with release management, configuration management and automation is preferred.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
