As champions of investors, we are looking for other advocates to join our team as a Manager, Trader ECG (IC) where you will work with brokerage clients as the subject matter expert in equities, foreign exchange, and derivatives (options & futures). What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • Series 7, 63, and 3 licenses 
  • 3 years of experience in Client Service, Financial Services and/or Brokerage Services, preferably trading, interacting with clients in a proactive and consultative manner
  • Passion for trading and market knowledge; ability to proactively discuss advanced and complex trading topics and appropriate solutions with clients.
  • Provide expert trader support, specializing in advanced trading strategies and Schwab Trading platforms.
  • Exceptional written communication skills which provide a high level of accuracy, clarity, and education, display empathy and a depth of market knowledge, and incorporate positive language.
  • Proven expertise in deescalating upset clients effectively turning challenging situations into opportunities for resolution and building positive client relationships within a dynamic trade desk chat team.
  • Educate clients around margin rules and calculations on equity, complex option positions, and risk management.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource and consultant to various Trader and CS&S teams, addressing market-related matters, resolving training issues, and providing single-point contact for clients

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Series 34, 9, 10 (or 24/4 equivalent)
  • Be able to be designated as a department mentor and point of contact for Trader Service professionals to help educate and upskill in Schwab Trading products and services.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to effectively mitigate risk and adhere to trading accuracy while adhering to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Collaborative and relationship-focused work style with demonstrated success in a team environment.
  • Practical time management & communication skills, positive demeanor, enthusiasm, professionalism, a strong work ethic with a high integrity level.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
