The Wealth Management Academy team is responsible for developing the next generation of Wealth Management talent. As a Senior Manager, Wealth Management Academy, you'll lead participant development from onboarding through program completion, helping individuals build the skills, confidence, and readiness needed to transition into Wealth Management client-facing roles. You'll also help attract and develop talent for the Wealth Management track of the Schwab Intern Academy, delivering an exceptional intern experience. Additionally, you'll support Career Pathways initiatives that connect aspiring Wealth Management talent with networking, development, and internal mobility opportunities across the firm.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coaching talent, building strong partnerships, and creating meaningful development experiences. Your work directly supports talent readiness, employee engagement, and the long-term growth of Schwab's Wealth Management organization.
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location: Charlotte, NC

Required Qualifications

- Coachability: Demonstrates a senior learning mindset by seeking input from peers and leaders, integrating feedback into measurable behavior changes, and sharing best practices—coaching others informally to raise advisory quality and client experience.
- Organizational Effectiveness: Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while coordinating recruiting, onboarding, licensing, training, coaching, and participant development activities.
- Communication: Demonstrated ability to facilitate learning, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex information clearly across individual, team, and leadership audiences.
Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required.
- Series 9/10 license preferred or must be attained as a condition of employment.
- CFP® designation highly preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of Wealth Management products, services, financial planning, and investment guidance.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
