Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

The Transformation Management Office (TMO) plays a critical role in accelerating large, cross-enterprise transformations that drive meaningful business and client outcomes. As Senior Manager, Product Enablement & Operating Models, you will lead design and operationalization of new ways Product and Technology teams work together, translating product transformation strategy into scalable operating models, practices, and enablement experiences that improve how teams make decisions, manage priorities, and deliver value. This role will help connect enablement work to measurable improvements in delivery effectiveness, time-to-value, product quality, and client outcomes.

You will support evolving enterprise product enablement programs focused on product working models, including role clarity, decision rights, capacity-informed planning routines, delivery practices, metrics, and supporting playbooks. This work builds on proven practices; your job is to scale what works, build what is missing, and ensure Product and Technology teams have practical, usable standards that keep pace with an AI-enabled delivery environment. The role will also help advance AIDLC practices that improve how teams discover, plan, build, test, and measure work.

You will champion change management and readiness efforts, helping teams move from fragmented, ad hoc approaches to more coordinated, scalable ways of working. This includes facilitating alignment across distributed Product, Engineering, UX, Data, Risk, and Business teams, establishing feedback loops that surface what is and is not working, and maintaining momentum through the ambiguity of enterprise-scale transformation. You will use metrics, tooling insights, and team feedback to identify friction, measure adoption, and continuously improve product and technology ways of working.

Success in this role means Product and Technology teams across the enterprise have the frameworks, routines, tools, and confidence to work with greater clarity, consistency, and speed. The operating models you help build should deliver measurable value, scale beyond any single initiative, and become part of how teams work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, activation, and scaling of enterprise product management practices and operating model initiatives, translating strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, adoption plans, capability-building programs, and measurable business outcomes
  • Partner closely with Product, Technology, UX, Data, Risk, and Business leaders to understand organizational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop practical solutions that increase product team effectiveness and delivery performance
  • Drive product transformation planning and implementation efforts, rapidly mobilizing stakeholders, establishing governance and operating rhythms, and accelerating the adoption of new ways of working
  • Build scalable operating models, standards, frameworks, and enablement approaches that can be sustained by organizations after initial implementation, reducing dependency on centralized support
  • Guide execution of transformation and enablement initiatives, proactively identifying risks, removing obstacles, adapting plans as conditions evolve, and ensuring successful outcomes
  • Champion change and adoption by developing communication, engagement, and readiness strategies that align stakeholders, build momentum, and increase confidence in new product management practices
  • Advance AI-enabled product development capabilities by helping teams incorporate AIDLC practices, emerging technologies, and modern delivery approaches into day-to-day product management workflows
  • Establish measurement frameworks that connect enablement efforts to business outcomes, leveraging data, analytics, and feedback loops to improve delivery effectiveness, time-to-value, product quality, and customer impact
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of product practices by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, scale best practices, and improve organizational effectiveness across Product and Technology teams
  • Support the broader portfolio of Transformation Management Office initiatives by providing leadership, expertise, and surge capacity to high-priority strategic efforts
  • Help strengthen the organization's product management capabilities by contributing to thought leadership, enablement content, operating model innovations, and best practices that improve how teams discover, prioritize, build, and deliver value
